Important Message Regarding COVID-19
April 3, 2020
Dear parishioners:
Everything in our lives and in our world has changed over the last two weeks. Our hope and prayer are that you and your loved ones are remaining safe and healthy during the current COVID-19 crisis.
These have been uncertain and fearful times for all of us, including our parish family. In the midst of these challenges, our goal is to connect with you and to be present to you. As Holy Week begins, we do not want you to feel forgotten or abandoned by your parish.
Since the contractors are no longer working in the area covered by webcam in the church, we are able to return to live streaming of services in the church. Therefore, we are pleased to announce that Holy Week services (as per the attached schedule) will be held in the church. Although these celebrations will be closed to the public (as per provincial legislation), they will be live streamed via the church webcam (www.christthekinglive.com). We invite as many of you as possible to view these services from home.
Over the next few weeks, we will continue to reach out to you.
Finally, let us respond as Christian disciples during this pandemic: let us pray for each other and for our world and let us treat each other with patience, kindness and compassion.
May God bless you and your families.
Fr. Raymond Akor Pastor
