Lectors

The Lector is instituted to proclaim the readings from Sacred Scripture, with the exception of the Gospel. The reader may also announce the intention for the Universal Prayer and in the absence of a psalmist, recite the psalm between readings (adapted from GIRM, 99)

During each Mass at the Church of Christ the King, you will see our Lectors proclaim the Sacred Scripture during the Liturgy of the Word.
